This is an optional activity.
The aim of this final activity is to help you summarise your learning from this course. After working through this Module you should attempt the following tasks:
- Try to develop a list of what you feel are ten key points about renal cancer. This list might cover the incidence of renal cancer, the prevention of this cancer, treatments, and information and support for those affected by renal cancer.
If possible, share this list with your colleagues and try to gain their views on it. Do they raise anything new or have a different opinion on the points that you highlighted? - Think about how this course has benefited you when caring for a renal cancer patient, now or in the future. What would you do differently now that you have completed the course?
- If you would like to learn more about renal cancer, try to develop a plan of action for doing this. You might decide to contact a renal cancer charity or specialist renal cancer nursing organisation to see if they are holding an event you could attend. Or, you might obtain a book or journal articles on the subject of renal cancer from your local library.
You should reflect on this Activity and keep a record in your personal Learning Record
